Wealth and Riches: Inheritance from God

Publish the fame of God's abundant goodness. - Psalm 145:7

Prosperity is God's Glory given to Man . . .

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return not thither but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and prosper in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Blessed the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commands. His prosperity shall be mighty upon the earth; the upright generation shall be blessed. (Psalm 112:1-2)

The same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him (Romans 10:12).

Abundance in Work

He will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and grain, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your cattle will graze in large pastures (Isaiah 30:23).

Home to Dwell

God gives the desolate a home to dwell in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity. (Psalms 68:6)

Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness! (Psalms 72:3)

In prosperity, give thanks to God with humility and fear lest by pride you abuse God's benefits and so offend him (St. Louis IX).
