Man's desire is to be rich and enjoy a luxurious living. In his pursuit of such desire, he is willing to do anything regardless of consequences. Here lies the temptation. . .
Focusing on the Lord as the Giver of our desires makes us mindful and aware of such temptations. The desire to be rich and to live in luxury is not wrong for God wants us to be rich in every way so that our joy may be full and complete. It is in our pursuit of such desire that we must be careful in our decisions and judgments.
